I had a very problematic experience with Veterans United. In once case, the loan coordinator shared the results of the home appraisal with the sellers realtor AFTER the contract had been terminated and without consultation of us, the buyers. At closing, VU struggled with compiling the closing paperwork to support closing with our family trust as the deeded owners of the property and closing was delayed because of this and subsequently we had to redo the paperwork because they changed the requirement for how the paperwork was to be signed. At one point, the person compiling the closing paperwork stated they had never done paperwork to close with a trust.

I researched and reviewed many mortgage companies aimed at Veterans. Veterans United was consistently the company that had the highest service and satisfaction rate. I begain my homebuying journey 2 years ago with less than Ideal credit. Veterans United worked with me for over two years to build my credit, purchase my dream home, and guided me throughout the process along with my realtor.Working withMax, Eric, Jill, and Ally was an amazing experience and if you're looking to purchase a home with a VA loan,Veterans United is not if you should work with them, but how soon.

My loan process with Veterans United was easy and streamlined. Chris Lipman and his team were very responsive. They responded to my questions and concerns right away. At one point Chris was out with his family and he still picked up the phone! That shows a commitment to this work that goes above and beyond. I felt respected and taken care of throughout the loan process. All members on his team from Britanny Lucy - Loan Concierge, Brenda Kelly - Loan Coordinator, and Mitchel Wray who helped with insurance coverage (hope didn't forget anyone) were easy to talk to, professional and very responsive. My experience was a great one. Plus, a nice final touch at the end of the closing was an unexpected gift basket for movie night in my new home. In fact, I have just done a refi using with VU. With the refi I worked with Brayden Byrd a Lead Loan Coordinator who handled my process the same way. VU knows how to provide great customer service---something that is a rare find today.
