Veterans United made it possible for me to use my VA Benefits & become a first generation home owner. They are responsive & work with you as being in the military can often mean an unconventional schedule. Loved the ease of uploading any documents needed online. Would recommend for sure.

Veterans United is supposed to be good, however, we heard a lot of things about extra fees being charged if your loan officer is not a local agent. They charge a $695 underwriting fee. Beware before you apply. Also, do some research on your loan officer. My loan officer went missing after our offer was accepted by the sellers and the loan process started. It would take days to have our questions answered.
