When documents were requested of me I got them to you instantly. When I had questions, I never really felt assured in the answers you gave. Responses didn't come very quick, and always came from someone low on the totem pole who didn't have the answers. When you requested documents from the sellers and their lawyers you got them, then decided you didn't like the wording or whatever... I'd love to know who the underwriter is and what their job even is... Must be nice to sit around and play god with peoples homes and lives. Probably voted for Sleepy Joe. In the future I'll be going with any one of the hundreds of other VA home loan lenders and I'll be sure to let everyone else know it too. I had to go over my documents more than they probably did to make sure no mistakes were made. You'd think maybe your customer service could step it up since the market is crap, I guess I figured wrong. You're lucky I'm writing this and not my wife.

Response from Veterans United

Wayland,

We’re here to help if you or your wife have any other concerns or unanswered questions. I’m very sorry for the struggles with communication and underwriting all the way to the finish line. I hear your frustration and do understand how cumbersome and redundant they oftentimes seem.

We’ll listen and talk you through it. Reach out anytime you need us. We’re always in your corner.

Very best,
Kendra, Client Relations

We cannot thank you all enough for all of your hard work and help during this process. Everyone was available to answer any questions that we had, made the process simple, and were just an absolute joy to work with. Thank you!

I noted in an email that they may want to exercise more tact in phrasing some questions. (One question in particular was accusatory and presumed that I had done something wrong when I hadn’t.) I called it to the team’s attention and it was never addressed. It left a bad taste in my mouth for an otherwise flawless experience.

Alex and her team were fantastic. I would recommend them to any family and friends looking to buy a house. They made themselves available 24/7 to ensure my questions were answered.

Veterans United provided me with outstanding services. my senior loan advisor Billy Chard is amazing, and I enjoyed working with him and his team. He made my first home buying process astonishing; it was the most incredible experiences I ever had. he made the process very simple and easy; Billy is very kind, friendly and a true professional, he made sure all my questions were answered promptly in a very timely and professional manner. he was always there when I needed his assistance. The whole experience was phenomenal and truly amazing, I am happy to have work with Billy and Spencer and Kaylie. I will recommend Veterans United to everyone. Thank you all for the unbelievable hard work.Andrae.

The only thing I wish I would have had is a breakdown of how to make my mortgage payments when I went to close, while it’s not that big of a deal and I will call and get the info, it’s nice to have it on paper when you close so nothing slips your mind.

For our first time buying a home, the team really carefully walked us through everything helped us get a lower APR and was available for all questions and guidance. When we needed an email of inspection/repair invoice everything was instant and it showed us how committed they are to making this as painless as possible. This is all through remotely purchasing this house since we couldn’t be there in person my girlfriend and I are extremely happy with the experience and very excited to move in!
