After 14 years of active-duty service in the U.S. Navy, Billy Chard brought his commitment to serving others into the mortgage industry. Billy understands military homeownership from both sides of the table. He experienced frequent moves during his Navy career and was a Veterans United borrower himself before becoming a Loan Officer. That firsthand perspective helps him anticipate the questions and challenges military families face when buying a home. Today, Billy specializes in helping Veterans and active-duty service members understand and confidently use their VA home loan benefit. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and following his favorite sports teams.
